Who we are

Esther Banquet extended her outreach work in July, 2023 arising from the changing needs of the society in meeting the needs and demands of the disadvantaged groups in a turbulent post covid era

We are committed to transforming lives through education, mentoring, advocacy, and empowerment, reaching individuals from multicultural backgrounds in Greater Manchester and beyond.

Our work focuses on creating opportunities, restoring dignity, and building strong foundations for the next generation of leaders.

Esther Banquet is a social enterprise organisation with a mission to inspire, motivate, and transform the lives of marginalised people from a multicultural background in Greater Manchester and beyond through the transforming power of education.

Our Vision
To provide 1-to-1 mentoring and training through our specialist Education Hub – The Excel Academy, offering support for those facing:
  • Deprivation and abuse 
  • Educational and employment challenges
  • Financial or parenting difficulties
  • Anti-social behaviour and spiritual crises

We aim to help every individual rebuild their life, regain confidence, and achieve a better quality of life.

Our Aims & Objectives

  • Deliver innovative programmes in education, training, employment, and mentoring

  • Enhance capacity, confidence, and leadership potential among marginalised people.

  • Provide a platform for inspired leadership and positive role models.

  • Offer practical, emotional, and spiritual support to autistic individuals and their families

  • Empower communities through outreach, advocacy, and faith-based initiatives.

Our Founder

Anne Fasan BSC. (Hons) PGCE, pgdip, MSC, TAQA Lecturer/mentor/ Assessor

Esther Banquet is founded by Anne Fasan, who originates from a black and ethnic minority background. She is very passionate about both girls, young people, women and youths overcoming their life challenges.

She has encountered and experience some challenges faced by women, and also specialised in gender and development studies in her course of studies. She represents a confident and inspired role model for the young women .and serve as a trustee for and director for other third sector organisation. Esther Banquet outreach strives to serve and currently has a number of board of directors which directly reflect the organisation’s aspirations and serve as role models for our target clients.

Anne possesses a Master’s in social science / Critical Autism Studies. She is a qualified teacher (PGCE + 14)and has a BSc international Development study, Post graduate qualification in both business management and Human resource management.
